Voice Mail Instructions for Local Hawaii Numbers from October 7th, 2008

 

The following directions will assist you in listening to voice messages, changing your access code, and customizing your personal greeting:

  • Dial your pager number.
  • Press * (asterisk) during your greeting
  • Enter security code (default may be 1234 or may be the last four digits of your capcode (look on the back of your pager.)).

After your correct access code is entered, you will be taken to the Voice Retrieval/Main Menu, which will announce your total message count.

Hit # anytime during your call to end the session.
Hit * anytime during you call for help.

 Voice Retrieval Menu/The Main Menu

  • Press 3 - To play messages newest to oldest.
  • Press 4 - To play messages oldest to newest.
  • Press 6 - To play all messages.
  • Press 5 - To replay same message.
  • Press 7 - To play time and date stamp.
  • Press 2 - To delete current message.

Personal Greeting Menu

  • Press 11 - To record a personal greeting.  (You will hear, "You may now change your greeting message.").
  • Press 30 - To begin recording.
  • Press 1   - To end the recording.
  • Press 40 - To listen to your greeting.
  • Press 10 - To return to the Voice Retrieval Menu.

Access Code Menu

  • Press 17 - To change the access code.
  • Press 3   - Then enter your new access code followed but the pound (#) key.  The access code is from 4 to 8 digits.
  • Press 4   - To verify your access code.
  • Press 10 - To return to the the Voice Retrieval Menu.

  • Enter security code (default is the last four digits of your capcode).

 Voice Retrieval Menu/The Main Menu

  • Press 6   - To play all messages including time and date.
  • Press 3   - To play the newest message only.
  • Press 4   - To play the oldest message only.
  • Press 5   - To replay the current message.
  • Press 7   - To play the time and date of current message.
  • Press 9   - To forward current message 5 seconds.
  • Press 8   - To reverse current message 5 seconds..
  • Press 0   - To recover messages that have been deleted during the call.  (If the call was terminated, deleted messages cannot be restored).
  • Press 2   - To delete current message.
  • Press 10 - To return to Main/Voice Retrieval Menu.
